Adding or creating a level

Adding existing level(s)


To add one or more levels that already exist, use the Ink&Paint node. The levels must exist on your hard disk; but the drawings in the levels can be at any stage of completion - they can even be unscanned.

  1. Drag the Ink&Paint node from the Ink&Paint page of the Node Panel to the Scene Graph.
  1. The Import Levels dialog appears. Use this to select the level(s) you wish to import in the same way as usual (see Locating a file), except you can also:

Director then imports the level(s), adding one Ink&Paint node to the Scene Graph for each level. The drawings from each level are doped out using their numbering. If necessary you can retime the images, or copy and paste them to repeat a cycle; see Retiming a level.
